we had an amazin stay at hordley hall! the location is super peaceful with the beautful views of the welsh hills. breakfast was so good, hazel even got gluten-free bread for my partner. the garden and surroundings were well kept and really added to the charm. loved the big driveway for parking, made it stress-free!
the wifi was pretty weak, which was a bummer, and the mobile signal was poor too.

Beautiful garden views with charming local ambiance.
Sadly, the TV in the room was quite small, making it difficult to watch comfortably without my glasses. the shower pressure left much to be desired. Most frustrating was the wifi access, which was non-existent during my stay, leading to challenges in staying connected.

the check-in was, quite honestly, a mess, and I was shocked to find my room had the tiniest TV imaginable—thankfully I brought my glasses. Oh, and the bed was absolutely mediocre. I expected at least a plush mattress, considering this is a so-called ‘hall’! I almost wrote a good review, but. just couldn’t.

pleasant stay with minor improvements needed
The breakfast options were delightful, prepared by a very warm hostess. The en-suite facilities were exceptionally clean, reflecting great attention to detail. The location offered stunning garden views with beautiful Penstemons and fuchsias that added vibrancy. We also loved the charming town nearby, filled with friendly locals and quality local shops.
The check-in process felt a bit disorganized.
